Cardiff Metropolitan University

Supervised by: Gunaratne, S.

BSc (Hons) dissertation investigating gender differences in academic stress and academic pressure among university-aged students in Sri Lanka. Published on Zenodo.

Read Abstract

This dissertation examined gender differences in the experience of academic stress and academic pressure among students aged 18–23 in Sri Lanka. The study explored whether gender influences the type, intensity, and sources of academic stress reported by university students, and the coping strategies employed. Findings contribute to understanding how academic environments differentially affect young people and have implications for student support services.
